HI, MY NAME’S KRISTY… AND I’M A TERRIBLE BLOGGER

So… apparently January was not my month to blog. A few things happened here and there, but it basically it just flew on by and I don’t know where I was during most of it. We do have quite a fun announcement, which most of the world already knows.  We are expecting our 4TH child. Yes… 4 kids. Woooooo Weeeeee! 4 kids is a lot….  I know. But we couldn’t be more excited (especially the kids) and it’s really just one more thing we have to plan in the mix of everything else. Also, I think we’re all betting on a boy. It’ll be fun to find out in March what we’re having. Only a month away!

Life continues to be busy…

Christian is currently, as we speak, at his Med School interview in Chapel Hill for UNC. He was a tad bit nervous this morning but with tons of prayer and faith, I know that he will do GREAT. He is so amazing and smart, that I’m just so proud of all that he does for us.  He has prayed, and studied, fasted and been faithful throughout this whole year. He has made strives to improve his application. We’ll know by April 1st whether he is in, or out, or on the waiting list again. We’re REALLY hope NO waiting list this year… not fun.

Kalea and Landen got one NASTY flu this past month. Apparently, Kalea got both strains of the flu at the same time. It lasted for over a week… with a nagging cough that just won’t quit. Her temperature even got up to 104.8 which was REALLY scary (I’ve never had any of my kids have temp’s that high). She was such a trooper though. She just bore it quietly, with occasional tears over the dizziness. But she has such a calm, sweet personality that I think she was just grateful when it was all over. Landen on the other hand…. that kid. He was HATING life. Tantrums, hitting people… he just didn’t understand why he felt so terrible. Let’s just say we’re ALL glad it’s over.

We are also currently getting our house ready to SELL. We have not real idea where we’re going to live. Whether it be Chapel Hill of the outskirts of it, or if Christian doesn’t get into UNC we would like to stay in the area and maybe even further into Wake Forest or Rolesville. It really all just depends on what happens by April. So we’re putting the house up at the end of March and will be holding our breath until them.

It’s that time of year again. Actually, it’s only been “that time” once before. It’s time to register Mia for Kindergarten. I’m just as unenthusiastic about this as I was for Kalea. It breaks my heart to know that one more of my children is school aged. It just seems so fast and they still seem so little. I guess I could always home school, but then my children would turn out to be idiots… because, let’s be honest… I’m not scholar. So off to school she goes in August. However, we have NO IDEA where the girls’ will be attending since Wake County is stupid and changes their boundaries 15 times during a school year…. and then if we move…. once again, it’s all up in the air.

OH!… And I just remembered what’s been keeping me SO busy this month. CROCHETING! I have started selling my hats/flowers/head wraps/scarves. It has been fun and really nice to make some money from home. I have a link to my Facebook page where some of the things that I sell are pictured if you are interested, or if you know of anyone who is. Winter is winding down and coming to an end… but I’m sure I’ll pick up right where I left off for next year. Especially if we’re poor college students (again). The money will help!

I’ll try and be a little more attentive to my blog. But I’m not making any promises.
